Hope Community Church - Cary, NC

At Hope Community Church, I served as the Communications Director, leading the marketing, communications, and creative teams for a multi-campus church with over 10,000 weekly attendees. I spearheaded strategic initiatives to amplify Hope’s mission, overseeing the development of impactful campaigns that supported the launch of three new campuses in Garner, NW Cary, and Fuquay. My role involved managing a talented 14 person team, responsible for digital advertising, social media, film production, graphic design, and storytelling, ensuring alignment with the church’s vision.

 

Through data-driven strategies and creative solutions, I helped build deep connections with the community, fostering engagement and growth while navigating the complexities of a large, fast-paced organization. My work extended beyond marketing to include change management, helping the church transition during a season of significant leadership and structural shifts. Every initiative I led was designed to strengthen Hope’s ability to connect with its congregation and extend its impact across the region.

At Exponential, I led marketing and communications strategies for the world’s largest church-planting conference, working with a diverse network of leaders to expand movements of reproducing faith communities. I developed and executed multi-channel campaigns that drove attendance, engagement, and impact, scaling key events like Exponential WEST and Exponential CENTRAL. By leveraging digital advertising, email marketing, and storytelling, I helped position Exponential as a leader in equipping churches for multiplication. I treasure quality time with my wife, Bethany, and our two young sons, and I love serving on the worship team at church.
